Please when did you later get your passport
Am also in this boat as I submitted my passport August 18th, it’s been 3weeks now and the update still remains “visa application is undergoing process at Canada visa office”.
Hi Toyosi, I submitted mine on the 25th and it’s still the same… have you gotten any updates yet?
Hi Olamide…just got an update now that “Decision envelope for your application has been received from the Ircc office and has been dispatched to the Canada visa application center”
I hope I receive another mail any time soon for collection

Hi Toyosi, I got my passport on the 4th of September, the long wait is actually over but it took three months before I received my passport.
I submitted my passport to the VAC on the 12th of May as a dependant. My spouse received her eCOPR on the 20th of August and I still haven‘t had any update concerning the return or processing of my passport. I have sent countless webforms and emails yet no response from the Accra ircc. I‘m so confused at the moment
I‘m in the same boat. Mine got to Accra IRCC on the 13th of May and still no update
Hi, please any updates for passport collection. My husband submitted his passport since July 2025 and I Got my PR status August 2025. We haven't gotten any updates since July 11 that his passport got to IRCC Accra.
Good morning, this also happened to me between May 16th and august 27th but I got an update when it was exactly 3 months and few days after I submitted my passport to IRCC Accra through VFS Lagos. I did a lot of search and I noticed Accra is very slow when it comes to visa issuance especially COPR and PR VISA but there is a stipulated time for COPR issuance so you might have to be patient and I believe it takes between 3 weeks to three months before you can get any update from ACCRA. My wife had to send several emails to IRCC Canada which they had to inform us that they had nothing to do with the application after it was already approved it was left to Ghana office to handle the rest by Issuing COPR but the office forwarded the email to ACCRA that very day and we got another PPR which was a total surprise but my COPR counterfoil was updated in portal the following day and I got an update from VFS on the 27th of August and my Passport arrived on the 4th of September. People need to Avoid IRCC ACCRA by all means because 'they are extremely slow', just stay calm and be rest assured that you will get an update soon. I understand how stressful the wait is but it will definitely come to an end soon.
