I applied on August 12th and received my GCMS notes on September 5th. They usually take around 4-5 weeks.

It takes 30days or more. I also applied and it clocked 30days yesterday. No response yet, but my application changed as LPP was completed and oath ceremony scheduled. Situation varies on case by case basis.

I finally received the most awaited email!! We (family of 3) are scheduled for virtual oath taking on the 22nd of September! Super excited for the culmination of this journey, it has been one great adventure after another!

Physical presence is completed on September 9. LPP is complete. Oath not started.

I’m scheduled for in person citizenship test and interview. My first test was invalid due to internet issue. Any idea what’s gonna happen in interview?

Based on what others are saying in the forums, the officer will ask you some questions about your application (travel history, employment, etc) as well as check you knowledge of Canada. The interview conversation will also count towards your Language assessment.

Hi Guys, I am about to submit my Citizenship application. My name is very long. Basically my father's name is also attached with my name on my Indian passport's first name. I want to remove my father's name from my name. Is it possible to do so? I have a Canadian driver's license and a heath card where only my name is there. Can i use those IDs for a reference. If not, Suggest me a right process to do so.
