2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

I got p1 since august 18 2025 and nothing happen after, I am march 3rd 2023 applicant
Hello fellow members. I need to ask you guys if anyone knows about this. As Protected person can I get mortgage to buy a house??????
I am confused and waiting for the ECOPR as I contacted some Mortgage agents and they said you should have PR in order to get Mortgage approved. Is there any chance if I can get it done before PR confirmation.
BTW, I am Dec 2023 applicant. So, according to the timeline, I should be looking at least 8 to 10 months as per the current processing time.

they don't expedite applications you can have all the valid reasons, they wont do it, i tried before
Yes, you can. You just need to find the perfect mortgage advisor who can work with you to secure your mortgage. If you are residing in ON, please send me a direct message. The last time I tried to share information, some people would pop up unnecessarily. @SKROR
Yes true it’s over 29 months and almost 31 starting no update

I’ve contacted mp and their office sent me update from ircc because they keep following.
“
Good morning,
As of the update received from IRCC, August 29, 2025, all assessments on your application have been completed, and it is now awaiting a final decision. The file is currently 10 days past the standard timeline, and IRCC has acknowledged the delay. We will be following up again within the next 15 business days.
Thank you for your patience, and we will keep you updated as we hear more. “
It means they literally stopped working on files because of some reason may be political pressure, it’s very difficult but we r next March and I’m sure this year only March or April if lucky enough. Hope something happens soon.
So if i'm August, next year they Will Hardly process other 4 months? Maybe they Will process My file ? Totally discouraging. For people alone here is like to continue in a emotional winter for one more year.
