this is not true. these remarks are pretty common for those people who only who made asylum claim and their claim was refused plus for those people are out of status and do not have any legal document.

I get it but normal processing times should be up to 24 months with PR not 27 months in 1 stage for me this is unfair for everyone plus the stress and anxiety they put on people

We finally have good news!

We submitted our H&C application on October 10, 2023.
Today, September 3, 2025, after almost 23 months, we received our Stage 1 Approval in Principle

I truly hope that everyone who is still waiting will receive their good news very soon. This process takes a lot of patience, but in the end, there is light

Just thought I’d update if anyone was interested in knowing

H&C Application
Oct 22 2020, application received.
Oct 30 2020, receipt of application.
March 31 2021, started processing application.
April 10 2025, AIP letter received.
May 01 2025, medical instructions sent.
May 09 2025, medical results received.
August 12 2025, COPR letter received.
September 02 2025 Portal 2: already had a PR portal created. Just need to confirm address in Canada and submit digital photo. SO CLOSE NOW!
