Yes March 17 and same situation seems like they slowed down but staying hope for good, we are next whenever they startI am March 10, and there has been no update since May 9, 2024. I’m starting to lose hope. I submitted several web forms and called them dozens of times, but it was useless—they just told me to be patient. I feel hopeless because there’s nothing more I can do.
Yeah, saw the update yesterday on the websiteU sure?
Thats nice if he got that.
Hi, I applied on April 2023, from QC. The wait time for PR is 45 months currently, so I am, in theory, 1 and half years away from getting the PR (so sad).
Does anyone know when it is usually the time to start seeing updates on the application? so far my application has been dead for months, stuck on background check (it feels like Groundhog day for those who watched that movie), and I have never received an update email.
My mom is under similar situation. Applied April 18th 2023 and requested ATIP end of June this year she hasn't receiv3d no news after eligibility letter.Applied on April 26th 2023. Unfortunately, you need a PRTD to get back into Canada since your status changed after you received eCOPR. Unless you have a PR Card + RTD, you'll need a PRTD to return to Canada. You can apply for an emergency PRTD here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...services/permanent-residents/card/urgent.htmlDears
I urgently need your help. I received my eCoPR on August 26, 2025, and traveled to the US last Friday for the long weekend using my Refugee Travel Document. However, when attempting to return to Canada, United Airlines staff at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) informed me that I required a Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) and refused boarding. I am currently stuck at the airport.
Please advise on the immediate steps I should take to resolve this issue and return to Canada. Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. As far as I know, I don't need PRTD since I have a refugee travel document and eCoPR.
Hi, I applied in May 2023 from Quebec, and I’m in the same situation as you. The wait time is 45 months, but there’s no guarantee we’ll actually get PR in 1.5 years. I think we should start contacting our MPs and raising our voices. On the other hand, the CAQ will change in October 2026, and that could really affect processing times as well.Hi, I applied on April 2023, from QC.
