Check the full json response .. mine also says 20 (complete) but I also saw rejection as in rawApiResponse rejection reason is because of photo of low quality . UpdatedAt is 15Aug but I still haven't got any notification ..

Based on reading threads on this forum, I suspect that 20 ("Completed") means that the automatic processing portion completed. It seems that this automatic processing system is probably called "RPA" internally. It then gets routed to a human to review the output of automatic processing. Hence why people are seeing "rejection" information but still get cards -- the IRCC human determines the issue found by automatic processing is a non-issue and approves. I'm not sure why they don't just immediately send all applications to RPA upon submission -- maybe there is a human review before it is flagged as "ready for upload".

Did the updatedAt change to a date later than the original 2025-07-30?

My application submitted on 2025-07-18 hit status 20 (renewals.complete) this week with an updatedAt of 2025-08-18. Then today I got a new updatedAt of 2025-08-20.

I'm wondering if others have seen multiple updatedAt timestamps in the JSON.

This is the first time I've read anyone experiencing multiple dates for that section.

I did not experience this. The issue date on my new card even states July 30, 2025.

Read through the thread at least a little bit.

The system for tracking sucks and gets updates late. BUT: they are processing renewals quite quickly, with many/most taking less than 30 days. And how this (frequently) looks - no updates, and the PR card arrives in mailbox.

Stress less, give it 30 days. Then if you want call IRCC. Even then, do not count on the tracker providing useful info as up-to-date as you might wish it to be.
WOW ! nice to read, if i get it, people could renew PR cards within a month most of the time

You case is NOT a simple one. "Simple cases" are those where there are no other issues and the PR is compliant with the residency obligation and residing in Canada.

Okay now i get the point, thank you for clarifications.

Hey folks! I’m in the same situation—I need to renew my wife’s PR. Her cellphone bill is under my name, so I can’t use that as proof. She only worked for about a year, but I’ve been filing her taxes for the past seven years (since we moved here). Do I need to provide all of her NOAs for the past five years, or is just the most recent one enough? Also, she is having trouble to access her CRA account to get her NOAs, can I use the lease agreement for both places we rented?

For the second piece of proof, she’s been seeing a doctor at least once every three months. Should I request her records directly from the doctor, or can I get them through the Saskatchewan Health Authority website?

Let me know if I should move this to a separated thread

Thanks a lot!

You only need two pieces of evidence. Two NOAs would count. So would a paystub plus an NOA. Or one of those plus a copy of one of your leases. Don't overthink this.

Applied July 18
I got an email to come to immigration office with all the documents
they will assess if they want to give PR card for 1 year or 5 years as my days were slightly short

Applied for PR card renewal on July 31, 2025. Let's see how long it takes. For my citizenship application, I have surpassed the processing time of 10 months which was 6 months back when I submitted my application on Sep 23, 2024. Hopefully, renewal gets done soon. It is going to expire in Feb 2026.
New PR card delivered on September 5, 2025. Turn on notifications on your mailbox from Canada Post through their app. If you receive a mail notification from Canadian Bank Note Company, it’s your PR card. GLTA.

We applied for my wife's PR Card Renewal on Jul 29th via online application. The status is still showing as "Submitted" and never changes.

We tried to get status from CEC website by providing payment receipt, her UCI etc., no luck, it says application not found.

Also, tried to link her application in one of the IRCC websites, however, the application it was tagging is her old renewal application which was approved 5 years ago and she got an card (which is an expired card now).

Also, raised a query using web form. The answer we get is very generic like application processing is in progress without further details etc.,

is there any other way to check the status of the application? any telephone number to call in? Anybody have similar experience?
