Thanks! The agent didn’t provide an update on the LPP status. He said my application is on track and that I shouldn't worry about the LPP, since major steps like the background check and test are already completed.

Finally, I took the Citizenship oath on Tuesday 12-August, 2025. My Canadian immigration journey comes to an end and what a journey it has been. I want to thank Cohen Immigration Law ( they deserve High Honors for their Service to Canada) for starting and keeping this forum, its a great place to network with others and get educated on the immigration process. During times of delays, you get the comfort that you are not alone which is pretty consoling. I would like to thank all the experienced folks on this forum. Folks like @armoured ( He or She also deserves national honors) continue to provide education, truths, guidance and strength to failing hearts- I definitely was blessed by your great contributions

Hello everyone, I have 1 question, My oath is scheduled for 15th of September. I am traveling to US from 22 august to 31 August. Am I allowed to travel? I mean are there any issues. I will be back by the date of my oath.

It would not be a problem. Yes, you are allowed to travel once you have your current passport and USA visa and PR card to return to Canada.

I got the info below on IRCC website. Since you are not travelling for more than 2 weeks outside Canada, you should be good:
While we process your application, contact us if any information on your application changes or if you
- change your address
- plan to leave Canada for more than 2 weeks in a row
- can’t check your application statusonline and the normal processing time for your application has passed
- are charged with a crime
- applied as part of a group, but now want to continue the application by yourself
- need an accommodation or a waiver (exemption) for
- the citizenship test
- proving your English or French language skills
- the oath of citizenship

That is strange. In comparison to other applicants, it is late. Frist, you can submit a webform to find out. and You can also apply for GCMS notes.
