No update for mine. Stucked in BGC. I read that its pretty slow nowadays. May to July are still waiting and I havent seen any August who got their approval.

Im not really sure why before it used to be 9 months.
Lets hope for the best, they are wrapping up july files now, taking two months on an average to process one month applications. If IRCC takes aug and sept to process august applications, we should be receiving approvals in october and expect PR cards by December. Atleast we will be done this year. Things are moving slow but still moving.

Hello everyone in the group,

Please i applied for the Inland sponsorship application but i got a letter that states that i have been determined that i meet the eligibility requirements to apply for PR but they are requesting for my passport but my original passport which is expired is with CBSA as i am a failed refugee claimant. will CBSA give me my original passport with a copy of this eligibility letter or i need to get a final approval for this Inland sponsorship before i can apply for my passport from CBSA? As i need the expired passport to renew the passport. Please as anyone been thru this situation before?

Anyone in final stages yet? (Final Decision email/P1/P2/eCOPR/pr card receives?

I think only June/July people. Nobody in this thread.
Lys01 applied on May 28, 2025 (inland) and already had a Final Decision on August 12, 2025, with COPR showing the next day. JanJJ, who applied in February 2025, now has a “Final Decision” date in their account as of August 7, 2025. Clearly, recent inland applicants are getting decisions much faster than estimated the 6-month wait you mentioned.
However I am preparing myself for almost worst case scenario (6 months, or by February 2026) or absolute worst case (February 2027.. really hoping and praying it doesn't go there). I want it ASAP

That is incredibly fast and not representative of all cases.
