Congratulations @fagsey

I believe you are the only one in this forum and on FB group who has got movement in Stage 2.
1) Can you share when did you submit your medical ?
2) Why did you not consider submitting Writ of Mandamus as your timeline of 42 months (and ongoing) is clearly way outside their stipulated rolling average.
3) Did you change your province from Quebec to outside Quebec or Vice-versa?
4) Did you serve in a government position in your country or does your country of origin not have diplomatic establishment or a stable government or war torn that might have caused delay in PCC / Background check?

@Kuchbhi i applied as an ontario resident, didnt serve in government position, i didnt need to do medical my medical was considered valid at Aip, i didnt want to go through the stress of writ of mandamus so i involved my mp.

Thanks for your response @fagsey

You mention that you already had a valid Medical at the time of AIP. Did you preemptively get your medical done upfront or is it a Medical from another program?

I assume you applied as a standalone H&C and not another program

Hi, I applied for PR thru H&C on 6/6/2024. I didnt hear anything since then. Is this normal? And my work permit ends 8/15/2026, can I apply for extension?

Unfortunately received refusal for H&C application from Niagara Office on my mom's application (Submitted: Sep 2023), we are planning to order the notes to understand the grounds of refusal. She is on visitor visa rn. What are some of the other options to consider? Get Super visa, Appeal existing application or resubmit another application? Thanks (No trolls or hate comments please)

Tough spot. Supervisa is obviously the way to go here, but this will get challenging now that she has stated her intent to settle permanently. IRCC weighs in on these intents. People still get lucky if an officer discards H&C attempt or fails to consider it. I have not seen a lot of cases here that are similar to yours to refer you/point you there. Getting professional(lawyer) help might be your best bet here.
