Hello everyone, after 42 month of applying and 11 month since AIP, we received our first portal yesterday, i will implore everyone waiting for second stage to contact their MP and inform them maybe they can help. I hope they start landing everyone now.

my aip was jan 7 2025
medical 20 february
adress confirmation march 7

it says on the phone background check
for 4 month so i called first time last week
i talk to agent asking were my application is going?
he said you passed background check is 3 thing
1 you passed . security check ✅
2 your Criminilaty and info sharing is pending .

i dont know how long it takes
i applied my H&C in feb 2023

i got first email on November 7 asking me additional documents
then i get my AIP on Jan 7 2025
total was 23 months

my second stage is 8 months now

i hope i explain enough

I believe you are the only one in this forum and on FB group who has got movement in Stage 2.
1) Can you share when did you submit your medical ?
2) Why did you not consider submitting Writ of Mandamus as your timeline of 42 months (and ongoing) is clearly way outside their stipulated rolling average.
3) Did you change your province from Quebec to outside Quebec or Vice-versa?
4) Did you serve in a government position in your country or does your country of origin not have diplomatic establishment or a stable government or war torn that might have caused delay in PCC / Background check?

@Kuchbhi i applied as an ontario resident, didnt serve in government position, i didnt need to do medical my medical was considered valid at Aip, i didnt want to go through the stress of writ of mandamus so i involved my mp.
