Hi friends
my son (single) submitted application on 13th May 2025
till today no update on AOR or mail from IRCC
is it normal delay!!. i see many are getting AOR between 28 to 48days
what should i do to know the status
should he reapply or to submit e-form
any one i similar situation
appreciate guidance/tips to proceed further

Adult applied from vancover
It's more than 60 days, unusual to not get at least AOR. Obviously should check spam email boxes etc as well. While not common, it's not unheard of for email addresses to be an issue.

But I'd call to check on it.

Thank you, yes, I can see the update date changed to 16th July now......how can I verify that IRCC has got my FP, I gave it at police station about a week ago
you can call IRCC to confirm if they received your FP or not. According to the rend, it takes about 4-6 weeks now. I did mine on JULY 11 at the local police station as well.

How did you know you were ready to take the test? Theres a whole lot of information in those 50 pages, did you feel like you knew most before you took it?

Don't worry, you've got this! You can also try studying by listening to the audio version of the study guide. Plus, some websites offer practice tests. For instance: https://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/
Thanks :) I have done all the questions in that test, and feel confident about that. But theres a lot more dates/details/people in the booklet. I will probably just read it a few more times and then try the test.

Hello. I received my AOR on June 11 but nothing has been updated since then. I understand it is quite normal to have such a timeline :) My question here is for Language Proficiency Requirement - I submitted my graduation and post graduation degree (both are from India - Panjab University and Kurukshetra university respectively). None of these say that the medium of education is English but are written in English. Also my post secondary (10th & 12th) certificates which have my subjects mentioned. Will I be still asked to appear for CELPIP and submit the score card. My worry is this may delay the entire process. Thanks.

Kinda Frustrating been over a month but no update since last month. No Test Invite No GU. I called IRCC and they said its in progress and they don't have anything beyond the tracker. Hoping for some update this week. hope they didn't forget my application.

I would say the test covers most of the areas in the guide ... but it's 20 questions, and it's multiple choice ... you only need 15 and you have 3 attempts ... everything is kind of logical, and not made to trick you.

If I was to tell myself where to concentrate my studies on, it would be a little more on the responsibilities, governance, and elections sections ... if you're unfamiliar with how that works here. Thats where I felt like I most might trip up. Otherwise like Kaykay05 said ... you've totally got this! Its not as hard as I thought it might have been.
