How many years valid have they given after writing PR compared to P when you first applied?

Hello, I am a protected person and applied for Permanent Residency on March 22, 2023. I received the eligibility and pre-arrival information in April 2024, but since then, I haven’t received any further updates. Applicants from March any updates????? I recently renewed my travel document, and now it says, "Type PR," unlike before when it was "Type P." Could anyone explain why the type changed, and why I haven’t received my PR yet?

Type PR means refugee passport, its the correct one for RTD. It doesn’t mean permanent resident.

Applied- January 25, 2023
Final Decision- May 26, 2025
First portal- May 28, 2025
Second portal- July 7, 2025
eCopr- July 11, 2025

Which location for processing office? Ist is Etobicoke?

Same For RTD, I applied more than two months ago. No news.

This is a forum where we can find out which month's or date's PR is currently being worked on.

I just saw your message. I don’t check the forum daily. Everyone has their own pace and responsibilities and it’s not fair to judge someone for a late reply.

• Final Decision Update: July 2, 2025
• Waiting for: P1 Email

Applied Jan 20, 2023. Decision: May 23. P1: May 27. P2 : July 2. Still waiting for eCOPR while those who applied on Jan 23,25 …….of 2023 have already gotten theirs eCOPR. This is unfair
