Petition e‑6601: Fast‑Track Family Reunification for Asylum‑Approved Refugees citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to:

1. Enact special measures aimed at rescuing the dependents of the primary applicant upon approval and establishment of the asylum claim, as this approach not only aids in the safe retrieval of the family members but also facilitates their reunion, thereby providing support and stability for the family unit in both situations;
2. Accelerate processing of Protected Persons’ PR applications in Canada to facilitate family reunification; and
3. Improve the tracking of application processing and transparency of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s procedures and decision-making.

But when someone asks a question, they should expect an answer and check for a response regularly :)
They didnt ask a question, they just gave their update….. theyre not bound to share their timeline if they dont want to.

And if youre talking about yourself, sure expect an answer but dont feel entitled to it lol and call others liars if they dont respond.

Hello house. Pls I applied as the principal applicant in April 2023 while my spouse was outside of Canada. He has been in Canada since October 2023 on a TRV. AOR was also received in the same October 2023. We recently got a request for additional documents and they had some forms for him to fill out as well as for my dependent kids. My question is, is it likely they are processing his PR alongside mine and the kids who have been in Canada all the while? I’m hoping that’s the case.
Hello Member, May I ask whether you applied TRV while your PR application (inside Canada) and your immediate family member (outside Canada) in the process after you received the positive decision of your case? I really would like to get some ideas, please. Thank you.

My children's names are written as single in all IDs. I want to add their last names. Our permanent resident applications still in process? I applied in June 2023. If I add their names now and change them and send the certificate to IRCC, will it affect my application and delay it? Is it right time for me to add their names? Or should I change after getting P.R Card

Hello, I am a protected person and applied for Permanent Residency on March 22, 2023. I received the eligibility and pre-arrival information in April 2024, but since then, I haven’t received any further updates. Applicants from March any updates????? I recently renewed my travel document, and now it says, "Type PR," unlike before when it was "Type P." Could anyone explain why the type changed, and why I haven’t received my PR yet?

How many years valid have they given after writing PR compared to P when you first applied?

t’s normal that all March applicants haven’t received any updates after the eligibility and pre-arrival letter. I believe the final decisions will be made in the next few weeks.
