July 29 applicant stuck on background check i called on june 12 they said info sharing and criminality going on after that nothing
Yesterday i applied sowp extension because i was approved for 6 months due to passport validity
I am very much worried when i will get P1 or work permit again now

Nope, I also dont have access to my gckey tracker (I applied through a rep) So i dont know whats going on

My document request was specifically for proof of relationship, with a focus on a detailed timeline. However, I had already submitted more than enough documents with my application. I also included a letter that outlined our relationship story, including a detailed timeline of events and key moments we've shared.


You're right in suggesting that the officer might only review these documents after the deadline for the ADR (Additional Document Request) passes—and that's what I’ve been hoping for since the day I submitted the ADR.


I’ve seen people mention that after submitting an ADR, they received a response anywhere from 2 to 6 months later. Of course, this varies, and I don’t want to discourage anyone. It’s not always the case that it takes that long. In fact, in this very forum, one member shared that their friend received the exact same document request and got an update within just they

They requested me to re-upload my proof of relationship, tenancy agreement, my child birth certificate, and to pay the RRPF throughout the process. Hang in there!

They added about the request they made at the gckey and about the files I uploaded

Ok but i dont know for what i am getting ghost updates because everything is done for me only bg check is in progress i called them on june 12 they said this

My application status tracker was not updated for almost 2 months, and it has been updated now. So, I am guessing that they had a system glitch which prevented them from sending updates (only for some, while others received updates regularly).

Mine was also updated on may 26 after that it updated on july 10 then july 11 then today july 13
