Just received my PPR.

Time line:
Applied - 12th May, from India (WP)
Biometric updated (existing records) - 16th May
Requested MP for assistance- Mid June (Should've done earlier)

Couple of emails back and forth asking about details. And final email from MP last week informing that they have requested the office to process the application on time.

PPR received - 07 July, 2PM EST

Don't hesitate to raise webforms (Diligently, don't over do it) and get in touch with MP.

Don't listen to people who says webforms and contacting MP is futile. Do what you need to do to get the application processed.

God luck everyone.

Received both Correspondence and PPR today.
Correspondence letter doesn't mean much, just a Biometric confirmation sort of letter. Some get it early and some get it right before or along with PPR.. don't worry, it's just a matter of patience.

Submitted a webform when the MP office was taking few days to respond. Received a response last week and mentioned that it's in final stage and something.

Hi I submitted the trv application for my WP just 2 days before you and haven't received a response I got a AoR the next day checked the tracker it shows biometrics and eligibility completed but background is still in progress. I have raised a webform to which I got a response saying its been sent to the concerned department but no response after that I have just raised another webform since its been this long. I hope I get soon.

yeah it's the same medical not started meaning it will be shown completed if you have already done that. Good that its just been a month for you since the application they changed processing time back to 28 days. I'm planning to reach out to a local MP. Do what's necessary from your end if further delay occurs and if you need to inform your school.

Processing time for applications during May-Aug are usually take longer because of higher numbers of applications due to Sunner holiday season, new enrollments etc.

Webforms are kind of hit and miss. Don't send too many Webforms. Background in your tracker will still remain in progress until you get you stamped passport. It doesn't change even after you get ppr. Don't worry about that, they have lot of different stages which we don't have visibility and not all offices update the status on time.

Better to contact local MP via email (i prefer email as this is more professional and keeps track of the conversations). I think that helped me get my PPR. There are applicants from late april and early may still waiting for ppr.

Contact MP by sending a well formated and respectful email explaining your situation and the MP office will help you with that. It takes few days after each email (conversation) to get a response from their office. So be patient. I wish you good Luck.

Contact your MP without wasting your time. I did and got my ppr. I've seen many applicants who applied before me are still waiting for ppr (not sure about how complex their applications are, but there sure are many still waiting since April, may). I should have contacted MP earlier, I guess I would have received my PPR a bit early.

There will be few days of wait after each email (conversations with the MP office) to get their response. But they sure do respond to your queries. Just be patient. Try to send a respectful, polite and well articulated email to MP (you can use chatGpt to get standard formats and edit/personalize it to your liking). Don't worry about those status. They don't update everything on time. And there are lot of stages/statuses in the backend, to which we don't have any visibility.

I wish you Good luck

yeah I was told to sent a written application from the MP office so they genuinely can handle this situation. yeah I'll be getting it done now and see how it goes. But anyways thanks for the update because the last information on ircc tracker shown was May 27th with background still in progress until now no letter no correspondence, webform reply came in after few days that it'll be forwarded. I guess this will help in getting the PPR

It will help your case for sure. At least, there is no harm in trying whatever you can.

I won't worry about correspondence letter. It's just a confirmation for Biometric records kind of letter.. nothing much. While many offices (specially within canada) try to follow the steps and send this letter and finally the ppr, but many don't follow that and send the correspondence letter either just before ppr or along with the ppr.
