Will I Still Be Landed?

Hi I'm the PA on an outland spousal sponsorship and my visitor status expired last month in June. I had already received P2 (since I am already in Canada and doing the virtual landing) so I applied for an extension prior to my status expiring. I have not received a decision on my extension yet and I'm hoping I receive my ecopr before I do. Am I still considered maintained and eligible for the ecopr currently? Of course if my extension is refused I will leave right away, but am I still okay for the time being? (I know I would be normally but idk in terms of ecopr)

I just wanted to update despite this having one person lol. I just got my ecopr and I'm so happy that I'm crying! I hope everyone else gets theirs and no one should take this dream from anyone (looking at the usa)

@SoupGoblin Did you change address when you came in and intended to do a virtual landing? Or they changed it automatically to ecopr instead of copr when they saw you were in Canada?

They changed it automatically for me after I sent the ppr in with a Canadian return address

@SoupGoblin So if I happened to be visiting my husband (I am also a USA applicant), I could just leave and ship ppr from USA if I want to do COPR instead of ECOPR? I would prefer to keep it as a physical landing in my case.

I got my final decision a couple of weeks ago. Got my letter asking for my passport copy and photos. Sent those out. I'm form the US but was in Canada when it came.

I received my physical COPR at my mailing address in Canada. But there was no other info or instructions there. Just the COPR.

I got my final decision a couple of weeks ago. Got my letter asking for my passport copy and photos. Sent those out. I'm form the US but was in Canada when it came.

I received my physical COPR at my mailing address in Canada. But there was no other info or instructions there. Just the COPR.

Id raise a webform and just make sure they know you are in canada. A few weeks after I sent in my PPR I received a P1 email, but I'd still send a message to make sure they will do the same for you. Just say that you are in the country and would like a virtual landing.
