I have committed a pretty stupid mistake from my side by mentioning my Place of Birth wrong in the Citizenship Application. And I have done signed it now. I am worried that they might ask me to resubmit my application for this dumb mistake. Is my worry going to turn true or is there still a way to fix it?

I haven't submitted my application, but I have a question about your error.

Was it submitted as "City A" instead of "City B" (both cities are in your country)? If that's the case, I think a web form sent to them will be helpful!

If it's a wrong country, I'm not sure if a web form helps. but you might as well try it, because it doesn't hurt to try it.

Yeah unfortunately, I put the wrong country. I put my currently living city as my place of birth.

May I know the exact steps to get to the web form? I maybe following the wrong link or something because I couldn't find any webform page to fill in.

When I applied for my PR application, I used this link to send them a web form: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/web-form.html (Google keyword: IRCC web form)

I hope that helps!

In your case, it looks like the country of birth was entered as Canada, which was obviously incorrect. I feel like a web form could help in this case. But you have to do it fast!

I signed and submitted the web form like you said. Hopefully they review and update the details on time before processing my AOR. Thanks a lot for the help. I really appreciate it.

Hey! Yes, I sent them a web form when I noticed on the GCMS notes that my TEER was not correct. They reviewed my document, and approved my PR application the following month.

I think a web form will be very helpful, but it can also depend on the visa officers.

But if you don't have an AOR, it means that they have not touched your application. I remember the form will ask your AOR; if you don't have it, you might not be able to send it.

Is it possible to see the correction on your account after they acknowledged it?
Unfortunately, they didn't give that feature for us yet. You will get to know that your changes have been approved only through an AOR (which you will receive in a month or two from the day you submitted your application). Else they will contact you regarding those changes and tell you to resubmit the application. Fortunately, the latter didn't happen to me as my AOR came within close to a month since I submitted that webform.

Did you change an IMM form?
After submitting a webform for the first time, they responded a couple of days later to resubmit the webform to include some more information like my Passport number, DOB, and some other details. And after close to a month, I directly received an AOR (meaning my changes were approved).
