If you have opted for delivery, try to track purolator website using CAxxxx number
OCI website says upload these docs -
Note: Document Re-Upload limit is 5 after which Re-Upload is not allowed. Document View limit is 5 after which view is not allowed.
Evidence of self or parents or grandparents or great grandparents
But BLS website asks us to upload so many documents -

Proof of present citizenship Select Document Cancelled/Surrendered Indian Passport Copy of certificate of registration of citizenship/Naturalization Copy of present valid passport
Evidence of address Select Document Driving License Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill copy Lease License in case of tenants Undertaking if the above is in relative name

Status is now showing "Passport ready For Collection after OCI stamping" with a tracking number under comments.

I combined all Indian docs in one PDF and Canadian docs in one PDF. And then uploaded it.
Received my OCI today , it took exactly 2 months and 8 days (Mississauga walk in)
Submitted on - April 19,
Granted on - June 11
Dispatched on - 26 June
Received - 27 June

Received my kid's OCI today. My application I sent via postal is still "Processing".
Here is the timeline for my kid's:
Originally sent via postal on 21st Apr but the application was returned due to an error and we decided to do a walk-in.
OCI portal tracker:
Application submitted: 28 April 2025
Acknowledgement: N/A (Portal changed and acknowledgement date didn't show)
Status change to Under-Process: 23 May 2025
Status change to Granted: 13 June 2025
BLS tracker:
Status 'Counter delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping': 26 June 2025
Status 'Passport ready for Collection after OCI stamping;: 27 June 2025
Purolator delivery: 30 June 2025
Purolator does not deliver on Saturday. It is an option you have to ask for at the time of creating shipping labels and pay an additional $25 - which in my opinion is not worth it.
With it being a 9 week process (not including the return of the application), it's been an arduous process with minimal transparency and no guarantee on the promised "6-8 week processing time". If you are relying on timelines to book your tickets, I recommend you don't.
My application is still on-going (Granted status) and will probably be delivered next week but I won't be in the country to receive it. Which I'm sure is going to be another headache

Hi,
I am from Gujarat and based on your recommendation I would most likely ask my brother or father to submit the application.
1. how can we do that application if we are in Canada? Someone on our behalf will submit application but they need our signature?
2. Do we need to wait till the cancellation of both cards? Or we can do the OCI in parallels by doing sign on the declaration.
