Is the Vancouver office currently handling your file? Background check and test completed in Jan and still slient till today.

Hi Folks,

To further update you for the notes. GCMS note were applied on May 3rd and received today (June 19).

Tracker says:
LPP- Completed on March 27
Test Completed- Feb 16

Everything is completed except BG In progress and Oath- not started.

Following are my observations from notes:

Physical file location- Grant clearance pending ( did check on forum and people says this means it is under security clearance)

Security clearance is redacted so don't know the status

However on the last page notes on March 25 when the LPP was completed the notes indicates following:

Clearances passed
PII is not required
Language requirement passed
Name search completed

Now I got confused whether file is stuck in security or clearance passed? what location is indicted in physical location for the people with waiting for oath?

Can anyone share information the officer notes on last page? Thanks.
 
June is almost over and still no updates from IRCC. :(
Everytime I call them they mention the same thing.. "Your application is in progress and we will let you know if somthing is required".

Part of me makes me wonder why they can't automate some of the simple things like Physical Presence, Language etc and then pass it on to an officer for final review.

No updates here in the tracker either for my wife.

That is good news don't be alarmed. Usually, interview is good and clears up any questions they may have so they can complete the application. From what I seen after the interview, they wrap it up a lot faster as they have all the necessary information.

If she has to have an interview, that's going to really suck, since we're in Texas now.

I think all these interviews are online. I checked the invite for my spouse's, there was nothing in the invite saying it had to be done from within Canada. YMMV.
