Is it possible to be selected under Skilled Worker Overseas stream if you had already applied under Skilled Worker in Manitoba?

Hi!

I have applied under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, and the last time I checked it has been nothing but SWO draws for the last couple or months or so.

Is it possible to be selected under SWO if you had already applied under SWM? Should I just wait?

Because I heard stories of people being selected under SWO despite the fact that they had already applied under SWM and didn't score enough to be selected, but because they had sufficient amount of points for SWO they got selected anyway.

So to my dismay I was confused when I didn't receive any email when I saw the minimum passing score under SWO being 606 and I had scored a total of 847 points

And as for another question, is it possible to apply under both SWO and SWM streams, if I had already applied under SWM?

I believe the requirements are the same as for SWM, so yes I should be eligible

All the past SWO draws are those who are nominated through oversees recruitment initiatives? Did you participate in any of those?

No I have never been nominated

So all the past SWO draws are for those who were recruited. You would not receive a nomination if not recruited through one of their job missions.
