Criminal police report for northern cyprus

Hello everyone. I used a Lawyer to get the police certificate for Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, I have done my biometrics and medical. Only for me to receive a message that Canada doesn’t recognise TRNC, what can I do. I have sent a letter of explanation and other documents through web form. Can anyone suggest what else to be done?

It can mess things up. Did they cancel your application?

No, they didn’t cancel it. Only asked to police character certificate from the republic of Cyprus (south side) in 30 days, which I tried, but I am legally allowed to get, since I only lived in TRNC.
I put every evidence in the letter of explanation via web form. However, I haven’t got a response

That means you must have chosen Cyprus as country visited not Turkey and it’s important to add LOE at initial stage but since they ask for more proof a LOE that include Wikipedia link is the best. I wish you success

I think they will positively reply to you since it is not a new case for them and besides it you haven't committed any crimes. They just want to make sure you don't have an issue with the law no matter the place you were living. There are many people in Canada with PR who used to live in northern Cyprus

I am in the same boat as well. I have sent my LOE with Cyprus map showing how the island is divided. I guess they will reply to me by the end of this month. I stay very optimistic.

Yes, include a letter of explanation that northern Cyprus' police certificate could only be gotten from the Turkish Republic of nothern cyprus. I sent a letter to IRCC explaining this situation and my case was reopened.

Write a letter of explanation about the situation of northern Cyprus. They already know what is going on but they are not the one to justify it . You must justify your case . If they refuse the police certificate from North Cyprus they should refuse the diploma as well. But as far as I know WES or other organisation in northern America accept northern Cyprus diploma. So just write a good letter of explanation, including map and add your police certificate from Northern Cyprus. That's all you can do. Keep your fingers crossed and let the gods decide your faith
