231 days for study permit extension ? is that possible?

I applied for an extension about 6 weeks ago. when I applied the processing time was 120 days.

but when I checked the processing time now it's 231. please help me. is this normal?

do I have to wait all of that to hear for my extension?

Not sure what help you want. Processing times change weekly and "is it normal" depends on applications in the queue, staffing levels etc. You can still study if you applied before expiry of permit.

In this case what if college not allow to continue you studies without study permit extension. What can we do in this scenario ?

So tell college to put you on official authorization of leave if they will not let you study. If on leave, you cannot work.

Hey, Im in a similar situation. I applied for my Study permit extension on 13th March. Since Im changing my DLI i was not able to start studying from summer semester. Can I still work under implied status? My study permit is expiring on 30th May.

I applied for my study permit extension before expiry but my counselor made an error.
Actually they submitted PAL letter but I am exempted from PAL as my DLI and level of study are same. They chose - yes I have PAL.
What should I do now. Will ircc reject my application? Please reply

If you submitted PAL then what is the issue?

Issue is I am exempted due to same DLI and same level of study. So exception is applicable. But they chose yes I have PAL option and not yes I am under exception. I am worried as ircc would consider it inaccuracy as in extension exception needed not PAL.

I don't see the issue as it gives you proof of studies. If you want raise a webform, but ask the international advisor.
