That's fast!

Btw, who received the sponsor approval info? I (the sponsor) have not recieved any communication from IRCC at all.
The sponsor typically gets the AOR, Sponsor Eligibility Completed (tracker) message and the Sponsor Approval Letter.

That's interesting, I have not received anything. Maybe because we did not include me as a representative,
Will call IRCC to confirm if it's ok, don't want to miss an important update.

So I managed to log in to the tracker account as a sponsor (had to just use my UCI plus the application number) and saw there:

Activity status updated: Eligibility
Eligibility
Eligibility status has been updated to Completed

Does it mean that I have been approved as a sponsor?

Can you please mention the link to track the application

We received your application and we're checking to make sure you've submitted all the required forms and documents on the document checklist.

Is this AOR?
Thank you

So Ive been following the immitracker. Getting discouraged, cause all the people who applied under me. got their AOR, or are on the next steps. Just recently checked, and people whom posted and submitted their applications after me (April 29 and 30) got their AOR too. Did they forget about me? or??

I know not everyone has enrolled in the immitracker. So im reaching out here. I just want to see how everyone's timelines are going so far.

I don't think it is. It's just a confirmation that they received your package. From what I am reading, the AOR should have a number, where you can see updates to your file.

Well, I figured why I have not received any communication as a sponsor lol
When we filled IMM1344, I missed not mandatory fields which were email and phone. Since I had already been in the system, I was able to get to the tracker later, IRCC has my phone and email, but the default correspondence method is physical mail. And here is an ongoing Canada Post strike, yk :)

Filled in the form and asked to update the preferred communication method. Future applicants: don't be me, check your forms CAREFULLY :D

Application submitted: April 28, zero updates

Called IRCC. I asked why I haven't received any updates. As others who applied in early May has already got AOR.

The woman said, it depends on the immigration officer, and the forms submitted. They need to see if it's true ect. And it depends on the case, eg, divorced, with children, where you lived before, clearances ect. The only thing I can do is wait.

She did ask for my name, and the person who I am sponsoring. Looked at my file and told me, "we have received it, and an officer is still going through everything. If you want, here is a temporary application number". I have a temporary application number, but I cannot do anything with it. So I am just waiting.

I also asked which email will receive emails. She said whatever is for the sponsor, will go to the sponsor. And whatever is for the applicant, goes to the applicant. She told me to be patient, and just wait for future emails.

Called IRCC
Just out of curiosity: how did you manage to speak to an agent? I tried calling about the problem with my email mentioned previously, but after navigating the menu and pressing "speak to an agent" I got a reply within the lines "all agents are busy, sorry" :)

I had to listen to a bunch of options. After maybe like 5mins. I got to an option to talk to a representative. I asked for a call back. (I called within Canada). Did they call me back after 45 mins.

Yeah, I also got this option, but was not asked about a call back, just "no agents available" and end of the call :)
I'm in Canada as well
