I believe you are correct, because I just received a notification on the Canada Post app indicating a mail labelled "CANADIAN BANK NOTE COMPANY" is on its way to me. I'm positive my PR card is on its way.

No tracking ID but you can register for my mail in canada post app. It will shows all the mails directed to your address regardless of any tracking

That’s correct - it’s two years if you were on a temporary status (work or study). But if you just landed as an outland PR, then it’s three.

If I don't booked a flight, any day the card arrives is fine. I have booked a flight back home due to an emergency and I may have to cancel my ticket. Thank you so much for your information

Have you researched two options:
1) change your return flight to land in the USA and cross the border by private vehicle/taxi/rental car(?). CBSA will admit you if you are coming from the US not on a commercial carrier (plane, train, bus).
2) Apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) in the country where you are visiting. It will take.... weeks.
