You most likely answered a question wrong. Usually it is the question about whether you completed the program in French or English, or online.

You're right that the Express Entry (EE) process can be a bit overwhelming at first, but I'll outline the key steps in order to help you and others who may be looking for the same information.

Step-by-Step Guide to Express Entry (EE) Process:
1. Determine Your Eligibility

  • Use the Come to Canada tool on the official IRCC website to check if you qualify for Express Entry.
  • Express Entry is for three programs:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
2. Get Your Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)

  • If you studied outside Canada, you need an ECA from a designated organization (WES, ICAS, IQAS, etc.).
  • This assesses how your education compares to Canadian standards.
3. Take a Language Test (IELTS/CELPIP for English, TEF/TCF for French)

  • You need to prove your proficiency in English and/or French.
  • Aim for CLB 7 or higher to maximize points.
4. Create Your Express Entry Profile

  • Submit details about education, work experience, language scores, etc.
  • You will get a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on your profile.
5. Enter the Express Entry Pool

  • Once your profile is complete, it is entered into the EE pool.
  • You will be ranked against other candidates based on CRS points.
6. Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)

  • If your CRS score is high enough, you may receive an ITA in a draw.
  • ITA allows you to apply for permanent residence (PR).
7. Submit Your PR Application

  • You will have 60 daysto submit all required documents, including:
    • Police clearance certificates
    • Medical examination results
    • Proof of funds (if required)
    • Employment reference letters
  • Processing time varies but usually takes around 6 months.
8. Receive Confirmation of PR (COPR)

  • If approved, you will get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).
  • You can then travel to Canada and complete the landing process.

Additional Notes:

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP): If your CRS score is low, consider applying for a PNP to get additional points.
Job Offer (Optional): Not mandatory but can increase your CRS score.
Stay Updated: Regularly check IRCC updates, as CRS cut-offs and rules may change.

Hello everyone
My fingerprints couldn't be captured while giving biometric . What will be the implications of this? Will IRV delay application for this??

I am bit confused, do I need to wait for this to be uploaded??
