Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, I received a letter an INVITATION TO AN INTERVIEW WITH A CITIZENSHIP OFFICIAL AND VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS, The letter to attend a Teams interview for myself and my 3 children, We are also asked to submit our passport/travel documents during the eligibility period not later 2days before the interview.

What caught my attention is that everyone has a different interview time, all my kids are below 16 years ( 15 Years, 13 years, and 8 years). If anyone has an idea of what to expect or any insight on how to get ready that would be greatly appreciated.

Are these times all consecutive? I don't know for certain, but my gut would be that effectively they've just booked enough time for all and don't have a way to book 'longer' interviews.

If I'm right, the officer might review the docs for each and perhaps at most ask each kid to stick their head in front of the camera for a minute.

And strongly doubt they'd ask the kids to speak for themselves or be on the call without parents.

You could try calling IRCC to find out - it's possible they don't even want the kids to be there, it's just a block of time for the whole family.

If they've booked four different online things with completely different times though, then I've no idea.

Yes, times are consecutive, I will start then followed by my kids. each person has a 30 minutes allotted time.

Yeah, my hunch is still that they'll confirm whatever docs you send them beforehand, and unless there's something seriously problematic, or a lot of questions, it'll mostly be ask a few questions, check against ID, and maybe have the kids pop their heads in to say hi and confirm they exist/look somewhat like their photos.

My suggestion would be to have them somewhere not too far away during the thing. The officer might call them in at any time and I wouldn't be surprised if you're done a lot faster than the two hours allotted.

hey, did you do the interview? what were the questions about? I got similar request and kinda concerned as none of my family or friends recieve such notice before...

Not yet,.. It’s scheduled next week on March 6th, I will let you know when i’m done with it
