I don't think Service Canada take any appointments for SIN numbers, only walk in is the option or you can apply online but that will take 3 to 4 weeks.

Appointment was a thing during Covid.
Now it’s just walk-in.

I doubt it.
Applying for GCMS would only give you some insights but that doesn’t speed up the process.

I think ircc is clearing the backlog as well as issuing the new ecoprs from this year as well

Did you apply anything for PR card for process to go further or they send it after ecopr themselves

You don't need to apply for anything. ou may connect your PR card application and track it's progress. I didn't link mine and I got my cards after 23 days from eCoPR!
