Hi @Miss bee hope you are doing well.

I applied as PNP and received my AOR and ADR including biometrics and Medical which everything is submitted and passed. My tracker shows background check in process.

However, I received an email from CIC-Windsor ON ending with cic.gc.ca which requested to update my background/declaration form.
I'm a bit concerned on if the email is legit from IRCC and not a scam? it doesn't say do not reply and it doesn't give any direction on how to submit the form.

Can CIC request documents directly per email?

Thank you in advance.
You don't have to reply to that email. Simply send documents through webform and you can ignore that email.

Can @Miss bee or others please answer my question? Thanks
Here's s how IRCC typically handles ADRs (Additional Document Requests) and medical requests:

1. Response to ADR Submission:
If IRCC has successfully received your documents, they will usually send an automated confirmation email stating that the documents have been added to your application.
IRCC does not always send a follow-up confirmation that the issue is resolved. Instead, they will review your documents and continue processing your application.
If the documents are insufficient, IRCC may request further clarification or additional documents.

2. Medical Request After AOR:
The timing of the medical request (IME) varies depending on the stream and processing queue.
Some applicants receive medical requests shortly after AOR, while others may wait weeks or months.
In some cases, if you recently completed an upfront medical exam, IRCC might use that result, and you may not receive a separate medical request.

Misbee, whats your suggestion for point 2 in doing the upfront medicals. PNP non express entry application, received AOR on January 9th 2025 and waiting for the medical request.

Hello guys, I have a little issue. I submitted my application last month and I uploaded a digital photo but forgot to upload a the receipt and a separate document that has the photo information. Is this going to be an issue and will they return my application? I haven’t gotten AOR yet. Thank you @Miss bee

Hi there! Is it mandatory to have a new medical done or IRCC would consider my older medical as they have a policy going on? I haven’t attached my older medical with my application though? Also, any July 2024 applicants here? Did u get any update?

@Miss bee Hi miss bee. Im having a tricky situation right now and need your guidance. I am still waiting for FD (have PAL).
My PGWP is expiring on Dec 2025 due to passport expiry. When would be the best time time to apply for extension? Im little worried as it has to be applied through paper application. Will I get applied letter right away from IRCC so I can continue working?
Can I instead apply for BOWP? As it will be online and I will at-least get (applied letter) from IRCC right away so I can continue working even after Dec 2025. Please guide.

You can apply 3 months before your current expiry however there is no rule . If you don't have employer restrictions on your nomination certificate you can apply BOWP .

Thanks for the response Miss bee. If I apply for BOWP without applying for (PGWP extension due to passport expiry), I wont be out of status after December 2025?

If

If your job position and job duties has been changed, you should inform PNP office and IRCC . It's mandatory part of PNP post nomination process.
@Miss bee I have a similar question. I haven't moved to a different position but got a promotion in the same company with different set of responsibilities. I've AOR at the moment with biometric completed. Mine is Non EE OINP application under Master Graduate stream.
Also, when I applied, my spouse had a job and but not working currently. Do I send a webform for that as well?

Thank you!

You have to renew your passport to get 2 years work permit otherwise they will issue you work permit for few months and you have to extend it again.

@Miss bee My PGWP expires in November 2025. I received my AOR recently and considering the processing time of 21 months, I'll have my PR by April/may 2026 timeframe. From your previous response, your suggestion was to apply for BOWP ~3 months prior to the PGWP expiration. My questions is more for my dependents (spouse and kids). If I apply for BOWP in August 2025 (90 days before PGWP expires), I believe I'll have to wait for my BOWP to be approved in order to apply for my dependents permits (open work and study) as their permits also expired in November 2025.

Thank you!

@Miss bee- I have a quick question regarding the IMM5669 form; under the education history section, I forgot to mention one gap year in my education. I was preparing for higher study exams during that time period. My application was returned once because of some missing documents. At that time, this was not flagged by IRCC. I applied in August for the 2nd time; do you think I should fill out a webform to correct this information now, or can it be updated later on?
