Can someone help me out here? I start getting a bit worried. My application was submitted on October 17th. The medical exam was completed on December 5th. I did do the biometrics on December 2nd, but on the tracker, it says "In progress". Also, Background Check and Eligibility are still in progress. People are saying that I should have received the P1 by now, but nothing has came yet. Does someone know what exactly is going on here?

Others getting P1 doesn't mean that you'll be getting it as well. Varies from one case to another. Most importantly, it depends how fast your VO process your file. Regarding your biometrics, just call them and ask!

I would say, don't worry yet. You are still well below the current processing time of 5 months from AOR to final decision. Do not get stressed because other people are posting or telling you you "should have received P1 by now". Even someone with the same AOR date as you could go faster or slower, and someone from 1 to 2 years ago has no idea what processing time "should be" these days.
