PR confirmation portal timelines

Happy new year.

I've been on this forum for a while now and I only read. I have suffered in silence and I have been patient. After 3 and a half months of waiting I finally received my Ecopr. Patience was a pain. I had to call an ircc agent on december 31st for her to send an email to the visa office. The vo is Etobicoke.

My AOR is from March 6, 2024. Inland. So the process took around 10 months (Instead of the 5 months prevision expected for Express entry on Canadian experience).
My Portal 1 was on September 3 and I replied on the 4th. and Portal 2 on September 17, to which I replied on the 18th. Since the 18th I haven't heard anything until today 10.57 am.

Patience, the journey is long but we'll all get there. I wish you all Good luck to you all, and thank you for being here to reassure us.

No dependents and Expiry date is February 25th 2025! That stressed me a lot! It's crazy how unfair I thought it was and there was no way of getting in touch with the VO. I called, called IRCC back, filled out webforms, nothing helped. It took the agent realizing that the copr was about to expire to contact them.

Nope. Every time I called they kept saying it is still on the virtual landing queue. No other explanation. It's a very unfair system, and it's badly done because there's no way to contact the VO.

Same with mine. Called the agent to see and they said the same thing. My P2 was on Dec 12. Nonetheless, you got it!

One thing though. i did ecopr2 on oct 30th and i am still waiting. what did you have to call the agent to fix?

They did start issuing eCoPRs for a few applicants, so trying to dwell on the positive side!

Here's my timeline :

78 days since Portal 1!!!
65 days since Portal 2!!!

Portal 1 : October 17 (Montreal VO)
Portal 2 : October 30 (Montreal VO)
eCoPR : Waiting Since The Dawn Of Time!

Sorry I don't understand. You mean you responded to P2 on Oct 30th?

I waited for 107 days before receiving my Ecopr.

I suppose your case is an exception. Because you were so close to your eCoPR expiry date, they expedited your case accordingly. If other applicants did the same but having a later expiry date (June/July 2025) for their eCoPRs, IRCC won't even bother opening up their files.

It's totally random, and if there's no emergency, they don't give a damn.

I had called an agent the day before (Dec 30st), and he told me to wait 1 month before the copr expiry date so they could contact the VO. I decided to call back the next day and another agent decided to contact.

Even agents have random decisions. It's really a painful process but we'll get there. Courage to you, it's just a matter of days.
