Hello, can anyone provide the type of questions they ask during the appointment and if they actually look at the supporting documents or no. I have an expired US visa on my original passport but now I hold an RTD, so when I applied for visa renewal with a new document number, i was asked for an interview. Thanks

Hello everyone,
I originally applied for a US visa on 28 Dec 2023. My initial interview date was Jan 26, but I was able to find an interview in June 2025, which is not close, but better than 2026. Since the fee is valid for one year, my fee expired yesterday. Now, when I open my account, I don't see the option to reschedule. Do I need to make another payment? If so, how?
Also, I haven't received any emails from any consulate about early appointments. Is this normal? Thank you very much.

Its March 20 2023 i created this topic and i see that there are still many people who dont know how to get earliest appointment slot. This is really unbelievable.

Not necessary. It's doesn't matter. U can have toronto on form n go to vancouver for interview.

I had submitted my application on April 2024, and had received a July 2026 date. I had a extension running daily at night which checked for slots and i was able to bring the date to June 2025.

Received an email today which said "You might qualify to schedule an earlier U.S. Visa appointment". After i checked I received a priority slot for Jan 2025.

So keep on checking and you might get a earlier date.

Friends, anyone got the email for early rescheduling recently, mine is on 11th month, and haven't got yet. People seem to get it 9th or 10th month generally. has this changed since recently?
