Did you go to BLS Vancouver or the consulate?

Sorry for the confusion. I was talking about https://www.blsindia-canada.com/toronto-jurisdiction/pdf/Mandatory_Declaration_form_toronto.pdf document which is also required for minors. Above three options/questions are for this document and how to fill it by parents ?

If you are planning on submitting the application in person just fill up and complete the application and the forms but do not sign the children's document.
Go to the BLS center and then the staff at the counter can guide you where the parents have to sign and where do the children have to sign or provide a thumb impression.

Hello,
I just submitted my Passport Surrender Application and i started to cancellation of voter iD and Ration card. I did Form 7 online form canada and it’s went successfully. Unfortunately, by the time of download the Acknowledgement Receipt all the letters are misplaced and messed up in the letter. Can any please help how to figure this out ? In online application it’s still showing” Assigned to BLO” and can’t able to download again the Acknowledgement receipt.
Anyone having the issue? And how to get another Acknowledgement receipt from the portal ?

Also, if any one have Acknowledgement Receipt can you please share with privacy how its look like..!

I just checked my postal OCI application status and found that it will be returned to me .

I made sure everything is upto the mark and as asked by them. It is being returned to me because my Canada Post Money order says in the 'PAY TO'

CONSUL GENERAL INDIA TORONTO

instead of "The Consulate General of India - Toronto"

I cannot help it as the Money order 'Pay to' field is short and can't fill all the characters. The Canada Post employee cannot do anything.

It's really bad on BLS or CGI to mention Money order if they can't accept a shortened field.

BLS money order where the field has to be shortened is usually accepted but not the CGI money order. I am unsure if they really make our lives difficult just because this is how it is.

I have written to the OCI email with BLS Brampton cc'ed on it and asked to check this and see what can be done today.

Hi everyone, I am applying for my newborn's OCI. She is 3 months old currently. We got her photo clicked from Shoppers Drug Mart. In the passport photo, her mouth is open. Will that create any issue during submission time? In the most recent checklist, I don't see any requirements regarding that. It would be great to know if anyone faced any issue?

It should not cause any issue, if bls people say photo is not correct, tell them you are taking the risk and use this photo

Thank you. So How to fill this form ? If you open the link of this form, In OCI application no, It should be Child OCI Application no ? and Bottom Only we as parent need to sign (as OCI applicant sign) and type our name ? I am confused as It is for child application and parents have to declare so.

Filling OCI application for my spouse, completed the part A and part B and in the process to upload the documents.
The list has many documents to be uploaded.
In the instructions for marriage certificate and Spouse OCI card, it says applicable only for spouse based OCI applicants.

Question - do I need to upload the Marriage certificate, Spouse OCI card and Spouse passport?

Note - I have Canadian passport and OCI card. And we both are born and married in India.

Only when you submitting application to BLS (by post or in person) you require self attested copies.
They are not required for online submission

Not needed if your spouse is applying for OCI on self basis
