Hi @Miss bee I got approved for my closed work permit on 23rd. But I’m working two jobs, so can I still work at other job for two weeks to give them notice of resignation or do I need to quit right now

So I applied my non express entry file on July 23, 2024 and I am waiting for my AOR, My Expected AOR date was December 20, 2024, from our group of 15 people from same day application 13 of them got AOR on December 20, 2024, we are only two who did not get AOR yet. Yesterday we tried and we were able to login to GCkey account and link our application via TFN and also we were able log in to tracker as well with the TFN(Temporary File Number) without having AOR.

Please advise what it can be and When can we expect the AOR ?
Just incase after how many days we should wait for AOR and if we don't get any response What can be done in that situation ? Please help us as we are getting tense now, as we also know that this is holiday season but just curious to know, as we are aware that people can link the application after getting the AOR. However we can without getting it.

Please how did you managed to link your application using TFN. I heard you cant link the application without AOR.

How to get AOR quickly ?I applied in November 15th 2024

No way to expedite it. Waiting is your only option. Expect 4-5 months.

Could you please explain in what all options you had tried to link your application with TFN. After seeing your message I also tried to link my application using TFN. Unfortunately no positive sign. Are you sure you had used the TFN to link your application. TIA.

So, Mostly all applicants can link their profile after the AOR, But my AOR expected date has been passed and I just tried and it worked, So as per my assumption they are working on my file and therefore I was able to link the account. Also, Don't forgot to remove "X" from TFN for linking the application.

@Krutik patel , can you please let me know the number to speak to someone from IRCC. I have tried the toll-free number and it just gives automated replies. There is no option to speak to someone.

Press 1 to confirm to UCI number
Next option 3 - for general que
Next option 2- for PR
Next option. 2
Next option 4. - PNP
Next option - 0 for agent to speak

They will ask you for your UCI, Full name, DOB and will confirm the address (if that is not correct they will change the address for you)

Then they will ask you for AR date and after you provide that they will hold the call for about 3 minutes. You will get TFN starting from XE……
Please note that down and in case you want to submit a webform use that as your file number removing X from the start. That gives you your file number.

Simple and easy process.

I usually request for a call back and have always got a call back within 29 minutes

Yes, you can use the UCI number from work or study permit.

No , you don’t need passport after you apply PR application. Apply Passport renewal asap when 12 months remaining. Now BLS is taking 1-3 months for renewal. Once you get new passport, send copy of new passport through webform and update CIC.

I am going to piggyback here. I am currently applying for the Non Express Entry PR. I am on maintained status via LMIA-Exempt Job offer as the AOR not arrived yet. My Irish passport expires in mid July 2025. As my AOR will probably be issued in Feb (if I get it) I doubt I will get the E-COPR before mid July. I can renew the passport in mid-Jan with 6 months left. Should I do that and send the webform in once arrived?

If all that is the case would be T-13 LMIA exempt work permit extension still apply after my current/soon to be old passport expires in July or would I have to apply for another extension - such as BOWP as I'll have my AOR then, before that?

I am Sep 2nd. They are on Late July now so for both of us likely February, you probably be closer to the end of the month

Expected wait time for AOR of the non express entry is around 5 Months. They are still working on July 23-24, 2024 dates.
