Hello, Does anyone know why a P2 email takes time after gettiig P1? Are there still some checks they have to do after sending out P1.
I received my P1 on nov21 and since then ive been waiting for P2. Replied to the P1 email twice, sent another one afterwards, raised a webform but no response. Im PNP inland with no dependents, AOR 29th Aug.

It looks like they are delaying the process as there are many backlogs pending from Oct . And as per some forum , their quota for 2024 is over so they have paused many things.
I hope you will get your P2 and COPR in quick interval in the early 2025.
Thank you for the response. To conclude i understand i submitted my P2 on oct 30th and from my understanding the process is backlogged. No reason to panic that I have not received my ECOPR yet.
One thing that may be holding back the process. I filed for 5 people. Me my wife and 3 children. One of the children they put twice on the PR portal (so 6 in total) so I submitted twice. Do you think that may cause an extra delay?
Good day All, I received email from IRCC to confirm my residential address in Canada within 7 days yesterday which I replied right away. Is this called P1 email?
AIP september 2024 and sent all documents requested in October 2024. If this is P1 email, what can I expect as second step?

Did they ask for Height, eye color etc.? then yes it's P1 after this they will send you another email with a login to PR Portal, there you will upload Passport Photo, Address and submit your Declaration.
Send an email to them asking them to fix it and regarding the delay, if you any dependents on your profile then it will take longer to get ECOPR as they have to verify and prepare ECOPR's for more than 1 person as compared to a solo applicant.
They only asked for confirmation of physical address in Canada but not the other information about height , eye colour etc. So its not P1 email than? The height and eye colour information should be in the medical exam which I had earlier, I think so they may not need to ask again?
Once a Final Decision has been taken on your Application, you will receive an email from IRCC with Subject line Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal Application #. In this email they will include a PDF with a template that you need to copy and paste and reply to the same email, the template will include all the basic info like height, eye color, address ,phone no. date first entered in Canada, date last entered, landed location etc. this is P1, after you send this info then they use this info to make an account on the PR Portal after that you will receive your login to the Portal which we refer to as P2.

I'm protected person, my Contry is Iraq. I'm protected person in Canada. I applied to PR 35 months ago still there is no sound without any resons,. I contacted Immigration but yhey didn't answer me they said in [process. I asked them If there is a problem in my case they said no problem. I'm about 6 years in Canada and I got acceptant as a protected person with the firs haring, i'm afrain my they delay my pr for fyrther time unknown, what I do? please advice me it's about 6 years I coudn't see my family. I have no any problem with any one in Canada. aboyt three months I contacted Immigration but before the agent conect with me it decline. I think due to my name. My orignal name is Zahir however I'm not Muslim and Kurdish, my religion was Kakay but Iraq Goverment at the time of miy birth day Kurdish name people name was not allowed. I faced to the problem of my name many times inside Canada . I don't Konow why? $ months ago I Contacted Immogration the agent responded me in such away such that never I heared from my live insulted me , and she was from Indian I don't know why??
Any one have any ideo to dvice me???
