PR confirmation portal timelines

We have not received ECOPR yet, I am a PR, we applied for spousal as outland and than my wife came to Canada on TRV and we shifted the application from outland to inland, i tried with service Ontario they said they need COPR

Unfortunately, you would have to wait then!

You applied outland. Moving to Canada doesn't "shift" her application to inland.
You will need to wait for eCOPR since I don't think you will get AIP for outland.
And you are looking at timeline of mostly CEC applicantions.
So I am not sure if that's the same queue as family class sponsorship applications.

I was looking into the news from back in 2020. When they introduced virtual landing for Ecopr was introduced. The whole plan was brought to speed up the application and drastically shorten the wait time for PR applications it seems that cracked me up

Technically, they should have cleared out all the October applicants by now! But HO HO HO, it's IRCC!

Well IRCC is teasing me at this point! I'm not sure what's happening but I got another GU in my tracker just now where it's showing today's date as the updated one. Nothing else. Everything else in the tracker is same ever since I got FD. Last one I had was on December 03rd. Not really sure if it means anything other a generic system update? Anyone have insight?

Got two GU last week and one today.
Nothing has changed and PR portal still shows no update.
But my heart skips a beat everytime I see that last updated change.. alas it means nothing.

I had a GU today too! Last GU was Nov 29.

I really hope that your turn is coming really soon. You and everyone here who have been waiting for so long. I understand the suffering. I waited almost 4 years to have my family under the same roof, it was excruciating. The GUs pop up and get us excited then we sit in the waiting room again. I think there are still a few work days left in 2024. I hope and pray for the release of many, many eCOPRs before 2025.

I guess thats it! 2024 wasn't the year. hopefully before December of 2025 we get our ecoprs

I believe this thing about quota for ECOPR's was true, IRCC have already issued so many PR's this year and they have probably issued more than they were supposed to for year 2024, now next year 395000 people are supposed to receive their PR so I guess people waiting for ECOPR since Oct 2024 will be the first ones to get their PR on 2025, now I don't know if that will be counted in 2024 quota or 2025 quota.
