By that logic, then I'm screwed! My CoPR expiry date on tracker is June 2025 (same date as my passport expiry)! Medicals expire in August 2025. Oh well! Lemme go to a corner to cry! :)

In that case, they will follow the 5 months timeline. So you should get it soon... just that they are prioritizing those applications whose COPR is expiring soon...
I reached out to IRCC and they told me that if the COPR expires before they issue eCOPR, they have to reevaluate the whole application and send it to another office to get their approval...
Basically, it increases their workload, that is why they are prioritizing applications that are expiring soon.

It's just that being on "maintained status" and knowing you're in the final step for PR is all too overwhelming at times! Hoping they issue my eCoPR soon enough!

So when we get the approval for PR - essentially that cancels existing work / study permit right?
does anyone know at what point does that happen? P1 , P2 , eCOPR , PR card?

5 month timeline is nothing sorts of a theory, its just the mentioned processing time in ircc website for cec applicants is whats being said in the thread
There's been a debate that the 5 month timeline is until FD and not eCoPR! However, don't care for either because this wait is literally excruciating as of now!
