@Hyper1013 . I have a question, IRCC just approved my wp ext today. i am waiting for my copr. P2 Oct 28 ,,, will it effect my copr?
Wondering , they should not consider temporary resident application when the PR is already approved.
i am stressing out now.

Hi Just a question, did you get BOWP approved?

I applied for my BOWP along with SOWP for my spouse on August 24 and got the WP-Ext on August 26. Ever since then I haven't got any updates on either of these applications. Bothof us are on maintained status since September. Tbh, I am waiting for the eCoPR more than anything else! If I'm not mistaken once eCoPR gets issued we wouldn't even need those!

Just a little stressed out because IRCC has been rejecting SOWPs left, right and center, especially after the changes in the immigration policies recently! Wbu?

Congratulations! And by WP-ext, do you mean BOWP? I suppose they do that for applicants just before they get their eCoPR issued! However, IRCC works mysteriously!

Mine is closed wp... but was working on the same conditions (as the letter i received when i applied for ext on basis of closed wp said that you can work on conditions of your original work permit)..... Just worried now because i wanted to change job once i get copr...

Yes, i hope we get ours by tomorrow. IRCC always stresses out. Been waiting for ecopr since two months from final decision.

How long it took for approval of bridge work permit to approve?

@manp ..I am also on closed work permit...After ECOPr, u will be residency visa ,so can do job anywhere.. Ideally they give open work permit during bridge application...I also want to apply...Can u share timeline with me for bridge extension?? Plz

If you are already on closed wp ,,, you cannot apply for BOWP...

You mentioned you are also on close work permit and you applied for extension so that is not the bridge work permit here talking about ??

Our discussed with one lawyer and they said you can convert the clothes work for me to open work permit through bridge work permit after you received acknowledgment of receipt for permanent residency application, I'm ready worried as my employer has asked me to leave in next 10 days has project has gone..
