Hi Has anyone recently sent their passport via mail (using ups) to address mentioned to sent at "112-1231 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6Z 0E2 , CA".
What does delivery says from ups, for me it says "Received by GAGAN" and say "Left At Residential", can some one confirm if they get same delivery notes from UPS because now I worried why it say residential?

nevermind seems ups store receives the package and it was marked incorrectly as Left At Residential.

H1b Stamping Experience

11/23/2024 - Completed DS160 and got placed in a virtual queue for the Dropbox instructions (estimated wait time 5 weeks)
11/25/2024 - Received instructions for Dropbox (actual wait time less than one business day) and dropped the documents at the BLS service center
11/29/2024 - The consulate received the documents
12/02/2024 - 221g received stating that interview waiver was not accepted. DS160 status was changed to Refused.
12/05/2024 - Received the documents from BLS service center and scheduled interview for 12/10/2024
12/10/2024 - Attended the interview with regular questions like Is this your first H1b? What are your title and responsibilities? What are your highest qualifications and salary? My Visa was approved and I was told that an interview was required as it was a new employer. DS160 status was changed to Approved.

There were available slots within a week but the time was 7:15. I am unsure if these were new slots or exclusive for h1b interviews for Canadian residents.

Anyone here recently submitted their docs for H1B renewal in Vancouver? I was hoping to understand what the timelines are looking like these days. I am submitted mine yesterday 1/22.

H-1b people in this thread who are renewing their visa by mail/dropbox on Canadian PR, do you have your Canadian address on your LCA and paystubs?

Hi All,
Did anyone in this group used alternate Postal/courier services like FedEx /UPS/DHL to drop the documents within Canada ? AIS stopped using Canada post from May 5 due to incoming possible strike.

Also appreciate anyone sharing their most recent timelines here please
-Thanks

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to do a Dropbox submission for B1/B2 renewal from Vancouver. I have a few questions based on your recent experiences:
  1. What was the timeline from dropping off documents to receiving the passport back?
  2. How did you pack the documents? Is a simple clear file/folder enough to protect them?
  3. For submitting the documents, can we use any courier service like Canada Post or UPS, or should we drop them off at BLS and collect them from there?
Any tips or advice based on your 2025 experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Dropbox era is gone now, isnt it?

Yes, for most non-immigrant visas. But not entirely for B1/B2 visa holders. You can still renew only the B1/B2 visa if the previously issued one was full validity, if you are renewing within 12 months, and if you are applying from your country of residence or nationality. Did you recently renew your visa?
