your airline won't know that you have received your ECOPR while you were outside Canada so don't worry about that.
Yes, I know that. As long as the eCOPR is not cancelled, I will be alright. However, this waiting period is affecting my work as well.
I've also noticed that the least helpful and unempathetic responses from the IRCC call centre often come from those who are immigrants themselves.
I'm considering involving my local MP at this stage, but I understand their influence might be limited since the case files have already been approved. Has anyone contacted their local MP about this before?

Well me personally I have never contacted my local MP but many people in this forum have reached their Local MP about this and the answer that most of them have received is that your file is in virtual queue so nothing can be done, as I mentioned earlier the IRCC employees have enough power to ruin anybody's day, they can delay your P1,P2 or ECOPR or your PR Card for as long as they want and you cannot do anything about it, but since you mentioned your P2 was sent at the end of last month then you should definitely receive your ECOPR by the end of this month.
I’m in a similar situation, as I need to travel in early January next year. I’m hopeful that I’ll receive the eCOPR email before my trip, but if I don’t have my PR card by then, can I re-enter Canada using my current eTA and work permit, or will they become invalid once I receive the eCOPR?

Hi! Congratulations! I got my second email on Oct 28 and submitted photo on the same date but I have not received my ecopr yet! Hopefully get that soon too! The VO office is Montreal!
From a technical standpoint, the eTA will no longer be applicable as you will have become a permanent resident. However, assuming you will not have received your PR card but received eCOPR, you can still use the eTA to board your flight to Canada, this is only for satisfying the airline you are eligible to come to Canada. Upon arrival at the CBSA checkpoint, whether by land, air, or sea, you simply need to declare yourself as a permanent resident of Canada. While it is preferable to have your PR card or a copy of your eCOPR for their convenience, they can easily verify your status with only verbal declaration (at least this is my plan for all my upcoming out of country trips).
Once you receive eCOPR all your other visa related documents become invalid. If you leave before you receive your PR card, you will have to apply for a PRTD once you leave. You can only apply for that outside of Canada.
What was your experience after you received your COPR? Did you notice in your CIC account if IRCC cancelled your eTA?
Yeah, I have heard of that, never knew that I could only apply from outside Canada. My trip is just for 3 weeks max and I doubt that PRTD will be processed before that.
I asked my lawyer about this when I didn't receive my PR Card and he said it takes around 2 months usually but you can ask IRCC to do it faster as it is an emergency.
i don't think they will cancel as the ETA will automatically expire beyond the expiry date just like Work Permit
Is it possible to enter into USA and then into Canada via land border with eCOPR?
yes you do not need a PR Card or PRTD if you are entering Canada through a land border in your own private vehicle.
