Hi I have 2 process going on PR and extension of my work permit. On the PR I am stuck on the "we are reviewing your elegibility" for a whole more than 1 month and on the work permit I am stuck on the Background check. Does that mean when one have the answer they share the outcome with the another?
I posted a similar question a time ago. Those background checks are different, so although you passed the security screening for the WP, you will still have to pass the other longer security screening process for PR.

Thanks @Miss bee

I didn’t pay for biometrics during my submission but you advised me to pay and submit via web form. Thank God I received both AOR and BIL yesterday.

Thank you
If you didn’t paid fees , you can pay now and send it through webform to avoid further complications.

hi @Miss bee - i submitted my pr application august 31, still waiting for AOR. i would assume, if everything is good on my submission, that i should expect portal 1 by the end of december. Is this correct?.. If i receive my portal 1 email and i am outside of Canada for the holidays and may not be able to return in time for the 7 day limit of replying to portal 1 stating that i am in Canada, what would happen?

Too early to predict anything. These processing times are not accurate. I think AOR is taking 3-4 months these days .

Hey @Miss bee, I got mail from IRCC for paying biometric fees. However I did paid my biometric fees with webform request on 18th of September. Do I need to submit it again ? As per their email :

Please be advised as of June 14, 2023, clients must complete a new Biometric enrollment for each new application. Please submit a new receipt in the amount of $85 to prevent further delays of your application.

1) Can you please help me with this ?
2) Also I received another email mention below :

```
This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2024/06/04.
```

Is this AOR or ADR ?

Thank you
