I notice on my OINP confirmation of nomination letter it said:

Restriction Of Employment:
Yes, restricted to the Ontario employer - Company name.

I am currently on PGWP right now that going to be expired at the end of October so I need to maintain my worker status. Can i apply for BOWP or I have to ask my own company to use the WP Support Letter to get a Closed WP.

And if my employer can pay the compliance fees for my WP can i use that and apply on my own or I need my employer to do it?

Unfortunately if you have employer restrictions on your nomination certificate, only option is to apply for Closing work permit. Your employer have to submit that job offer in employer portal and pay $230 compliance fees and he have to provide you that job number starting with A123456789. That you have to put in your work permit application form . Also you have attached copy of fees receipt your employer paid .

Copy of previous work permit
Copy of passport .
You cannot submit that job offer in employer portal. Only your employer should do that part.

Thank you miss for answering. And does this have a timeline like do we have to wait for IRCC to accept my employer job offer? Or my employer can apply and pay for the fees and get the number plus receipt right away.

You can apply anytime. There is no timeline to submit it . Ask your employer to submit it asap and apply for new work permit if your previous one is expiring soon . It’s pretty easy process to submit job offer.

Hi, I have seen a lot of threads from you, may you please advise on this:

Got portal 2 this past Mondat called Ircc agent and was told that as the their database the last activity on my profile is just for Portal 1 email and the case office who sent me portal 2 doesn’t put notes or remarks that portal 2 is sent out, she advised me to email back to the same email from which i received first email for update on ecopr.

My question is first of all is it normal? Secondly if the officer doesn’t put remark does that mean after I uploded my picture in portal does anyone get hold of hit or is notified, and will it be processed regular. And i emailed the same email twice does it have any negative impact.

In photos section, i combined front and back of the photo and uploaded as pdf . Can this cause application returned as incomplete or rejection?

For PR card? if you do with pdf isnt it lose the photo quality?

I just noticed that my nomination letter also has restrictions on employment. I submitted my application on July 23, 2024. My PGWP expires by the end of April 2025. Is a closed work permit my only option to extend my stay in Canada or is there a step I may be able to get before April (considering the timelines) that may allow me to extend my stay?

No only option is to apply for closed work permit. Maybe your PR application will be processed and approved before your current PGWP expires.

I need your advice in this situation. I have applied for a closed work permit on May 11, 2024, but it might refused because of the missing of Compliance fee. You can do is submit new application with another job offer in employer portal and pay compliance fees and attached all required documentation this time . Apply new application and withdraw old application. You will get refund on that application if they haven’t processed that application yet . This is pretty normal. If you already got portal 1 email and you replied to it , portal 2 email will come soon which can take around 1-12 weeks . There will be no negative impact if you replied to email million times .

Great thanks, i already received portal 2 and responded it it waiting on ecopr, my question was one of the ircc call centre agent told me that as per their record they dont see my portal 2 credential email being sent out, however i already received and responded to it.

Agent told me to respond back to same email as the officer who sent our my portal 2 credentials does not put the information in the database or forget to put same. As per agent each action is to marked in database. This is my concern as I work at law firm as legal assistant and see alot of mess up with applications and this time it is for my application so little worried about.
