work permit vs study permit expiration

Hello,

I came to Canada with my parents. My father applied for the Start-Up Visa and obtained a work permit. I started studying at a university here. Recently, my father’s work permit renewal was refused. I am worried that my study permit might automatically expire because of my father’s refusal. (I am 20 yrs old)

What options do I have? Can I continue my studies separately?

You can continue studying as long as your study permit is valid.
