Hi, guys; please help!!!!!! I applied for a PGWP last year on June 30th, 2023, and I have been waiting in Canada since then. However, on February 1st, 2024, I realized that I had been using the wrong Form, which was for people applying outside of Canada, and that my form went to the New York Office. I used a web form to replace the application form with the right one, and I got denied due to overstaying in Canada because, in theory, I should have been outside of Canada during this time. I wrote an explanation letter explaining that the action of using the form was not intentional but still got denied. I found an immigration lawyer and I am going to apply for a Judicial review. what is my win rate? I need help.

Your situation is extremely unique. I don't think anyone here can guess your chances of the judicial review being successful. It's good that you have hired a lawyer. Good luck.

Assume you stopped working as soon as you received refusal. JR is a process where your PGWP is not approved. It is a process where if you win your JR, IRCC will reopen your case and review it. It can still be refused.

Hi, are there any similar cases that I can read to get a basic concept of it?
