No I'm talking about the rural renewal stream. This rural renewal stream program is still there but some community has stopped their endorsement and some did not.
Rural stream just had a May draw with around 400 spots remaining for 2025 and 4000 profiles submitted. Don't know your EOI score. Communities don't have to select anyone and that is their choice.
Yeah these are previously submitted files probably. For this year I don't know how they're going to fill this 400 spots. But yeah areas like grande prairie, medicine hat, and many others are currently not giving out endorsements. I saw that some small communities are giving out endorsement right now.
So you have to contact all communities. There are 4000 in the pool so lots of endorsements already in the pool. Maybe that is why there are no new endorsements because thousands haven't been invited.
Damn! Then they're going to invite all this thousands for next 2 years I guess so how can someone like us going to plan to move there!?!
Few will get an invitation because score not high enough nor enough spots. Just because your name is in the pool doesn't mean selected. There are only 950 spots allocated and many of the 4000 may not be eligible in the coming years.
