If you want to gain experience and have a job (and housing) then it is your choice. Don't go with the expectation of PR through Rural Renewal.
I mean if I can't get PR than there is no benefit of moving there. Yeah I have some friends there so I will be able to get a job and housing and experience but as you are saying that there is no chance for permanent residency to rural renewal. Then there is no point of moving there.

Never said that but you need an endorsed job offer with the community to apply. You say you will be able to get a job so talk to the employer and see if your job can be endorsed to enter the pool. Plus you have housing in the rural community so you seem set. However this doesn't mean PR. There are over 4000 currently in the Rural stream.

I calculated the score with 1 year experience that I can get and all the other areas. I would probably be getting 67. For the last two draws the score was 68. I think the reason why there are so many applicants because in this particular program there are applicants from outside Canada too. With outside Canada experience also.
