I'd say the minimum wait time for Montreal is currently about 3–4 weeks. You can consider yourself lucky if you get your e-CoPR sooner. Even the processing time for issuing a PR card keeps increasing; it's currently at 46 days, and I remember that when I checked the IRCC website last month, it was at 32 days. It really seems that the assessment of the whole application is taking them about the same amount of time as sending out portal e-mails and issuing an e-CoPR and PR card afterwards, which is something I cannot understand.
thanks for the information

I have been waiting since feb 05, 3 email, 1 call and nothing

Uploaded photo on Feb 14th, sent an email on Mar 6th, they responded today mentioning that me in virtual queue and it will take time to process due to high load.
We need to wait, patiently, is the only option I fel.

No :( Its going to be 2 months on 18th. Still nothing on the PR card. I have raised the web form still no reply on that.
While checking the processing time. It has increased to 45 days now.
Did you receive it already?

Hi Guys,
writing to get some understanding of timelines, I received P1 email from Etobicoke VO on Mar 12, replied with required details (UCI, email, last entry date, etc) how much time it usually take to receive the 2nd email with temporary password.
I am stressing out on this and want to understand how it works in the Etobicoke VO.

Not sure about Etobicoke, my understanding is that they were faster but for other VO such as Montreal it varies from few days to several weeks (to few months for some unlucky). I also received P1 on 12th March (from Montreal) and did not received P2 yet. Maybe some from Etobicoke may share some light on this particular visa office but I would not be surprised if it is also all over the place

Is KAI method still working, i stopped sending email after several tries, waiting since Feb 8

Not sure it ever worked, some people did say they got it the same day by doing it but lots got it after 1, 2, 3, or even more days so not sure if it just coincidence.

I got P1 from etobicoke on 12th march and I got p2 on 19th march

I've followed this thread for quite some time and have found it really helpful in determining the pace of things. I just got my P2 today and thought I'd contribute with my timeline.

Applied August 28, 2023
AOR on October 7, 2023
Application completed on "application tracker" on February 28, 2024
P1 on March 5
P2 on March 14
Now awaiting my eCOPR. The document number for this and everything has been on the application tracker for a few weeks now, so hopefully this means it'll come soon? My VO is Montreal.

Update: I got my eCOPR today!! A huge sigh of relief and a total surprise to be honest. I didn't expect it to come so soon! My COPR number has been available on my application tracker for a while now and it showed it was supposed to expire in May, so perhaps that's why things moved a bit faster? My VO was Montreal though, so there is hope for those still waiting! It seems like things have sped up quite a bit for people in that office as of recently.

This is a grueling process and everyone on this thread should feel proud of themselves for sticking it out. Good luck everyone!
