My CEC(inland) AOR is July 2023 and P2 Submit date is Dec 18 and waiting for Ecopr. My primary office is in Vancouver and secondary visa office is New York. My spouse t is outside Canada so that’s why the Secondary visa office is in New York and he got Copr.

Is ecopr issued by the Primary Visa office or the Secondary Visa office ? I am not able to find email linked to Vancouver. Can someone please share? I dont see lot of post in the forum for visa office Vancouver so not sure how much time it is taking to issue ecopr

I got P2 on 1st of December and waiting for my eCOPR.

I emailed all addresses previously mentioned to ask for news and I got this response:

Good morning.

As you can imagine, IRCC has 1000s of applications to process each week. As such unfortunately we cannot give any guarantees with respect to processing times along the way.

Feel free to access the following website for more information:

Thank you for your patience. Be advised all such email inquiries moving forward won’t receive a response.

Regards,

The application tracker has been down consistently for the past few weeks. Is everyone else also running into this issue?

If I am not wrong, I believe the dependent(s) can only get their Copr after the Primary applicant (if inland) has completed the Landing process and has been issued the eCopr. Until such time the Passport if submitted is kept pending at the embassy.

Ideally, the primary applicant in Canada should receive their e-COPR before dependent applicants outside the country. Nevertheless, there have been cases where dependents received their passports stamped and e-COPR ahead of the principal applicant. Delays in the primary applicant receiving the e-COPR can impede the entry of dependents into Canada. In this situation, dependents may be allowed to enter Canada using a pre-existing Visitor Visa while awaiting the issuance of the principal applicant's e-COPR.
