It will be incredibly difficult unless you get a transfer if you work for a bank with a location in Canada. Banks are currently going through layoffs and between people who grew up in Canada, Canadians who went abroad for banking jobs and want to return to Canada and newcomers with significant experience in finance all competing for jobs there just aren’t that many jobs. Canada is a relatively small country.
