Hello, I do not think my Oci will come in time. Luckily we got entry visa. Anyone know where we can collect the oci from as we will miss the attempted deliveries from Purulator (since we will already me in india on our month long vacation)

Hi There,

I walked into the BLS Vancouver on October 3rd for the OCI application.
Date of Acknowledgement: October 5th,
Status: Under Process (@ OCI official website) & Processing at General Consulate @Bls website)

It has been 6 weeks already, no Idea how long it will take.
I think we still gotta wait for a couple more weeks.

Should be done this week.

Check this tracker for other Vancouver applicants. You might get an idea around when yours would be processed. Seems like Vancouver is a bit slower in processing compared to Toronto.

Mine is same as yours ACK date 5th October but it still showing under process still waiting

Oh ok. My travel date is 29th Nov - so I should be good going by the current trends, right?

It should as your application is processed. But keep an eye on other two dates, if they take time to update it will be very close to your travel date.

Yeah I don't understand why Vancouver is slower than Toronto in processing. Toronto must be getting way more applications. Maybe there are lesser people working in Vancouver consulate after what happened, hence slower processing there.

I am thinking maybe I should apply for entry visa. But I dread dealing with BLS yet again!

I have sent my application thru Purolator on 17th October. BLS has received on 23rd Oct. I track my application on bls website it says Application received on 30th October 2023 and Processing at General Consulate. When can i expect OCI card to be delivered at my Home?

I submitted OCI card application on 24th oct through postal, they recieved on 30th october but there is no update after that. They dont reply to mail or calls. Do you think I can get my oci card before 15th december i have flight on 16

Generally you could authorize someone who can pickup the missed delivery notice and use it to collect the package from Purolator outlet on your behalf. Purolator has stricter rules on releasing packages like passport, but may still work with proper authorization.
