I called IRCC today and they said that my file is still under processing time that is 6 months for AIP . So I need to wait and if I don't get ECOPR by 22nd October then they will send a reminder to the officer . Until then i need to wait .

Wait. I was told by an agent that once we get portal 1 the processing time stops counting.
I really don’t know if I can believe on anything they say anymore…

because right now I’m waiting for over a month and if this still counts, in two weeks my processing time will be due

It means that is in the queue for virtual landing (getting eCOPR and then PR Card). I have been in this amazing queue for the past 42 days (27 business days)

Yes , I did involve local MP office and got ECOPR after 2 days

I am thinking to do the same as I am waiting since almost 2 months now. Could you please confirm what documents the MP asked from you to process it on his behalf?
